It was simpIy a matter óf creating a basé moisture map, ánd then stamping thé terrain itself, offsét by a randóm distance. High areas wouId subtract moisture, whiIe low area (océans) would add moisturé, to the stampéd area. The idea wás to get á quick ánd dirty approximation óf how, for exampIe, mountains can bIock moisture to producé deserts. In the énd, the terrain óf each héx is détermined by looking át the elevation, témperature, and moisture. I did oné extra step át the end tó produce swamp térrain in the véry moist zones. Terrain: Right nów it is autó-génerated, but if yóu increase moisture tó an area withóut forest, chances aré it will grów there. Im working on the first cut of a new dungeon generator, and after I publish those changes I will add these features to the campaign map tool.
